It's been a great year for Shannavarius Whippets, as our show season ended a couple of weeks ago at the Irish Kennel Club Centenary Championship Shows.
This year started on a high note as our Fay - INT IE HR CH Nugabe Barbie Juarez IRCHJ PLJW’16 SPW’17’19 won Champion Stakes at St. Patrick’s International Championship Show in March, qualifying her for the prestigious “Champion of Champion” event to take place next year. The highlight of the year was making up an Irish Champion - our first one - after waiting through COVID times to win the last “ticket", adding another title to Fay’s name before stepping through to veteran class next year for the occasional outing. Fay’s exciting Group win at Limerick Championship Show in August and Group placements secured her joint 12th place overall in Group 10 in the Irish Canine Press Leaderboard for 2022 with some limited showing. She has enjoyed her early break in the last couple of months as we focused on campaigning her daughter at the last few shows of the year.
Joy - Shannavarius Absolut Diva Americana started her journey towards her Irish and International Champion titles after her great run of success during summer shows. We are truly proud of how she turned out after missing out on her puppy and junior career and stepping in with no fuss into the show ring this year.
We have some exciting plans to fulfil next spring/summer after postponing our winter plans this year as we hope to welcome our second litter.
