About Marcus...
Marcus is the litter brother to our Wiggles and our first boy-keeper, sired by Southpoint Kilian Foxpolis, out of Shannavarius Absolut Diva Americana.
He's a super sweet-natured, gentle, and crazy dog who is totally spoilt at home. His favourite activities are runs on the beach followed by all-day chilling under the blanket or in front of the fireplace.
Marcus is co-owned by my parents and sister. He lives a happy life in the house with a cat named Pepsi, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and cockatiels.
Marcus has successfully completed all requirements for his Irish Junior Champion title.
In November 2024, Marcus suddenly fell very ill, nearly losing his life. Through hospitalisation and diagnostics, he was later diagnosed with Addison's disease. Addison's disease is a lifelong condition requiring ongoing medication. For this reason, with a heavy heart but a sense of responsibility to the whippet breed, we decided to remove Marcus from all our future breeding plans.
He is now happy and healthy, enjoying his sofa life and daily walks, with occasional visits from sister Wiggles, mum Joy and granny Fay. He has proven to be a great uncle to all our puppies, including his half-brother Ruairí.
